Terms & Conditions

Last updated August 2, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of SweepSonar (the "Service"), operated by Webbywolf Innovations ("Webbywolf," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What SweepSonar does

SweepSonar scans public posts and threads on third-party forums — currently Reddit, Quora, Hacker News, Stack Exchange, and Indie Hackers — using each platform's available API or public access, matches them against search projects and keywords you configure, scores them with a large language model for relevance and intent, and presents the results to you as "leads" inside your signed-in account. We do not guarantee any particular volume, frequency, or accuracy of leads.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use the Service, created with an email address and password via our authentication provider. You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support@sweepsonar.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract, to create an account.

3. Subscriptions, pricing, and billing

SweepSonar may be offered free of charge (including during any beta period) and/or under paid subscription plans. Where a paid plan applies, pricing, billing frequency, and included usage will be presented to you at the time of purchase or upgrade, and form part of these Terms for that plan. We may change pricing or introduce new paid tiers going forward; where required by law, we'll give existing subscribers reasonable notice before a price change takes effect on their account. You're responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase. Billing is processed by a third-party payment provider we integrate with; we don't store your full card details ourselves.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which you should read before purchasing — in short, payments are non-refundable except where we agree, at our sole discretion, to make an exception.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, dox, spam, or impersonate anyone on any forum or platform it surfaces content from;
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with rate limits, authentication, or other security features of the Service or the forums it connects to;
  • Resell, sublicense, or bulk-export data from the Service to build a competing product, or scrape the Service itself;
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law; or
  • Use the Service in a way that violates the terms of service of the underlying forum (Reddit, Quora, Hacker News, Stack Exchange, or Indie Hackers) for the account or access method you use to reply.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice, depending on severity.

6. Your content, our content, and third-party content

You own the search projects, keywords, and other configuration you enter into the Service. You grant us a limited license to use that configuration to operate the Service on your behalf (for example, to run scans and generate leads for you).

Forum posts and threads shown to you as leads are public content authored by third parties on third-party platforms; we cache copies of that content to power scoring and the leads workspace, but we don't own it and make no claim to it. Your right to reply to or otherwise use that content is governed by the terms of the platform it originated from, not by us.

7. Third-party platforms

SweepSonar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Reddit, Quora, Hacker News (Y Combinator), Stack Exchange, or Indie Hackers. Their availability, APIs, and terms are outside our control and can change without notice; if a platform restricts or revokes our access, scanning for that platform may degrade or stop, and we're not liable for any resulting loss of leads or data.

8. Service availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and may modify or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time. We'll try to give notice of material changes that affect paid subscribers where practical, but the Service is provided on an as-available basis without uptime guarantees.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service, including any lead scores, tags, or recommendations it generates, is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Lead scoring is generated by a large language model and is a best-effort signal, not a guarantee of relevance, accuracy, or business outcome — you should independently judge whether a thread is worth acting on before you reply.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webbywolf Innovations will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or 100 USD if you haven't paid us anything.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your home jurisdiction, disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maharashtra, India.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Contact
