Everything between “someone has this problem” and “I replied”
SweepSonar finds forum threads describing the problem your product solves, reads each one, and tells you which are worth your time — and how to answer without getting removed.
One scan reads all five sources
Reddit, Quora, Hacker News, Stack Exchange and Indie Hackers. The same problem gets described in all five by different people at different stages, and which one is worth your afternoon changes week to week.
Keyword, domain, or URL
Real search, not a keyword filter
Know why a thread is worth your time
Every thread gets read and scored — not keyword-matched. You see the verdict, the reasoning, and the numbers behind it.
Five verdicts, not a number
Intent and persona
Why now, in one line
Reach, computed not guessed
Reply without getting banned
The thing most tools skip. Every lead shows the community's self-promotion stance, and the draft respects it.
Policy on every lead
Drafts that obey it
Wrong-language threads dropped
A board that keeps replies moving
Leads land in a workspace, not a CSV. Four stages, because a lead is either new, replied to, won, or not worth it.
List and board views
Thread preview in place
Draft a reply
Deduped across scans
The problem it replaces
Searching forums by hand does not scale, and the good threads go cold while you are still reading.
Hundreds of threads, a handful of conversations
Freshness is most of the value
Questions
- Does SweepSonar post replies for me?
- No. SweepSonar finds and scores threads and can draft a reply for you to edit, but it never posts anything. Every reply is published by you, from your own account. That is deliberate — automated posting is what gets accounts banned.
- Which forums does SweepSonar scan?
- Reddit, Quora, Hacker News, Stack Exchange and Indie Hackers. One scan searches all five and deduplicates the results.
- How does SweepSonar score a forum thread?
- In three layers. Deterministic facts first (thread age, reply count, how fast it is moving, search position, estimated reach). Then a language model reads the thread and classifies intent, fit, persona and whether the question is still open. Then a fixed formula combines them into an opportunity score, a reach score and one of five verdicts. The reach number contains no model judgement at all.
- Will replying to threads found by SweepSonar get me banned?
- Not if you follow the policy shown on each lead. Every community has its own self-promotion rule, and SweepSonar shows that stance on every thread it returns, then writes drafts that respect it — including writing no product mention at all in communities that ban them.
- What counts as a credit?
- One credit is one thread hydrated, scored and stored. Starting a scan is free, cache hits are free, and a thread already scored for your project does not cost you twice. Generating a draft reply costs two credits.

One credit is one thread read and scored. No card, no trial timer — run a scan and see whether the leads are any good before you decide anything.
